As part of this year’s Culture Night Late, Galway County Council Arts Office is presenting Lumina – a mesmerizing nighttime event that will illuminate the facade of Tuam Cathedral in a breathtaking display of light, sound, and live choral performances.
This Culture Night, the iconic cathedral will transforms into a living canvas of spectacular projections, accompanied by beautiful music by local Choirs and Musicians. Lumina is a celebration for everyone – perfect for family, friends, and neighbours alike. Culture Night is One Night for All.
This year’s event brings together talented artists Jennifer Cunningham (Tuam), Scott Robinson (Limerick), and ENTER.black founders Bonnie Lisbon and Harry Clunet-Farlow (Paris) to create a visual masterpiece. Their stunning animations and visual stories will be accompanied by a specially composed score from ENTER.black, paired with the enchanting voices of the Tuam Cathedral Choir and The Tome Chanters.
